Ultrasonic system (US) employed by EVOPIPES for quality control of plastic material pipes in the extrusion process is a real technological break-through. The system measures & controls the conformity of product parameters to given standards:

Innovation brought by further integration of ultrasonic system with gravimetric material feeding system:
US completely scans the pipe in length wise direction and around the circumference. No spot escapes from this detection!
US continuously determines the actual weight per metre (kg/m) based on the gravimetric data (kg/h) and the haul-off speed (m/min). Based on the weight per metre, the ultrasonic measurement is calibrated, independent of temperatures in the measured spot. These measured values are always absolute figures!
