On Sunday 17 May almost 11,300 people joined the One Run! One feeling! of the Rīga Marathon. EVOPIPES team too rose to the challenge and in the fierce competition of the mini-marathon finished with the result of 00:36:04, thus improving on the last year's 00:38:33.
"We are very satisfied with our participation in the run. This year, our colleagues from Lithuania and Moscow have also joined us. I would like to thank all our colleagues, friends and partners who have supported us", said EVOPIPES chairman of the board Edgars Viļķins.
According to the information of the organisers, participants from 45 countries have applied for Nordea Rīga Marathon, which is 25% more than last year.
Most of them, i.e., 7,813 participants, applied for the 5 km mini-marathon run. The largest number of the participants came from Latvia followed by Finland, UK, Estonia, Italy, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Sweden, USA, Poland, Belgium and other countries.
